M*A*S*H

My all time favorite television show.  I bought all 11 seasons on DVD as soon as they were individually released.  I watch them quite frequently, especially if I’m sick.  There’s something very comforting about MASH, and I will be spotlighting some of my favorite moments here.  I expect this page will eventually be very long, rambling, and probably make very little sense to anyone but the most devout fan.  But, hey, it’s MY page!

I’ve actually been thinking about putting my episode reviews into a database and having them load onto a page in random order. For some reason, having everything appear in broadcast order isn’t very appealing and seems too “predictable”. That said, I haven’t actually written anything about the episodes yet. As with my Annie movie review, I really need to watch the shows and type about them as I watch them. My memory isn’t what it used to be.

I just took the MASH trivia challenge on facebook. There were a lot of questions, all of which were written by other facebook users. To that, some of the questions were poorly worded and a few were downright wrong. I didn’t do as well as I thought I would (#10 our of 12,823) and thought there would be even more questions than there were (and there were a lot!) I also tended to do the ‘Jerry Seinfeld at the ATM’ thing, where I would click on the answer as soon as I saw it, not realizing that there may be another correct selection and a ‘Both A and B’ answer or ‘All of the Above’. Doh! I guess I will have to accept a measly 10th place for this one. Next time I will pay more attention!
